UNL Donations
2011-Present: We’ve held semi-annual golf tournaments in my late father’s name to raise money for the University of Nebraska’s gymnastics fund. We’ve raised hundreds of thousands to date. My father was an entrepreneurial engineer, national champion gymnast, and very involved in the local business community. The university approached us about starting a fund, and we were happy to help.
Lincoln Public Schools Volunteer
2019: When my cousin was attending elementary school, I designed most of the shirts and banners for various PTO events. I tested all designs with the kids, which they voted on. It was fun!
Natural Disaster Fundraising
2013: While studying abroad in Argentina, there was a flood that displaced neighborhoods of people like in the region known as, “La Plata”. I helped raise money while working at a local newspaper, sending out urgent memos through email newsletters and sponsored events. This was when I first managed and designed a website. Prior to, my design experience was in graphic and editorial design.
